The stones used in the construction of the Temple were finished at the quarry, so there was no sound of hammer, ax, or any other iron tool at the building site.

No Evil

Solomon and Company understood the value of silence. There’s probably something we can learn from that.

When’s the last time I actually pursued silence? How can I possibly begin to think I can actually listen if I’m surrounding myself with noise all the time?
