In a Pig’s Snout

A beautiful woman who lacks discretion
is like a gold ring in a pig’s snout
Proverbs 11:22

Pigs are unclean, nasty creatures in this context. This is a much bigger insult than merely saying “lipstick on a pig” in our American culture.

I can think of quite a few gold rings in a pig’s snout. Can you?

Let’s keep looking for beauty from within. That’s what’s important, anyway. Right?
