Neglected

When I started this blog several years ago, the idea was to use it as a tool to encourage conversation. In fact, the original title of the blog was Continuing the Conversation. Maybe something from Sunday morning sparked an idea or a question or something else. Ideally, some of those ideas and questions and such would be discussed within this community to benefit others. I saw it as another way to encourage discipleship through mutual encouragement. It could aslo be another way to share some key thoughts that might not necessarily have fit into the previous Sunday’s message.

Needless to say, that hasn’t hapened. And it’s my fault. I haven’t put forth the effort necessary to encourage the conversation I’d hoped to see. So this blog has come to a crossroads: do I let it die a slow, lonely death? Or do I revamp it and give it the ol’ college try one more time?

I’ve decided to keep it going. I have some ideas that I believe are worth sharing. I also have some ideas that should encourage some increased conversation. I also have some ideas for how to revamp the design, so stay tuned for that, too.

All the social media and blogging ‘experts’ insist that the key to encouraging traffic to a blog is consistency. And that’s what I hope to do. I hope to become more consistent in my posts and I’m looking forward to sharing this amazing adventure of following Jesus with you!

So keep coming back. Even stay awhile. I think you’ll like what you see.
