Coming in the month of June, we have the opportunity to join over 400,000 churches worldwide in participating in the One Prayer ministry event.
I believe this is a great opportunity for us to share resources and hear the heart of some amazingly gifted communicators like Andy Stanley, Craig Groeschel, and others share their heart for the Church universal based around a common theme: Unstoppable.
This raises two questions, however, that I need your help in answering…
1.) If we were to participate in this event, it would be on Sunday evenings. Right now, I’m thinking something like 7-8 p.m. Would you be interested in participating in a casual Sunday evening service in June? I know this could open the door to allow some people to attend who might not be able to because of work commitments.
2.) Obviously, since we’d be hearing from preachers around the world, we would be doing it through video. If you have never experienced a video sermon, go ahead and go here or here and watch one of the messages. It’s OK. Go ahead and do it now. I’ll wait.
Is this something you’d be willing to try out? You don’t have to be completely sold on it. I’m really just trying to gauge interest and openness to the idea.
Obviously, I believe this could work. But I really want to know what you think. What questions do you have? Any other concerns? Feel free to share them in addition to your answers to the questions in the comments below.
