As mentioned in yesterday’s sermon (I’ll post the audio as soon as it becomes available), there are several quality tools available online that can help you choose a Bible study plan that fits your needs right now. Here are a few of them:
* Bible in a Year reading program from CrossWalk.com. It even keeps track of the passages you’ve read!
* WGNR (97.9 FM) has a reading plan that will help you read the Bible in 90 Days!
* Don’t forget to find a translation that is easy for you to understand. If you’re interested in looking into other translations, Bible Gateway has many translations available for you to use online. You can even read in German, Spanish, or Chinese (if you’re into that sort of thing)!
For those that are interested, my goal is to read through 1 Thessalonians each day for the next 30 days. I’ve done most of the other Bible study methods and have found them to be very beneficial. I haven’t tried reading the same book for 30 days. I figured if I’m going to encourage everyone else to try something new, I should probably do something new, too! I’m interested to see where God leads this as we ‘chew on Scripture’ together!
I’ll post more resources as the week progresses. If you have any suggestions or other resources to share, feel free to comment below (or shoot me an email).
